Represents an ancient, multi-dimensional form of sound healing. The Gongs are already used in meditation and ceremonies since thousands of years. Gong Master Don Conreaux describes it as “the gong is known as an instrument of transformational power” and translates to “an engine of power releasing tones of resonance and complex harmonics beneficial on all levels to the participant.” It is considered a bath as you are bathed in vibrations from the instruments.
During the Gong Bath participants are laying down comfortably on mats and with blankets allowing the vibrations of the gongs to wash over them the crown to the root. This allows energy to be discharged from the fingers and toes. Participants are encouraged to lay in complete stillness to allow the vibrations to move through them as if they are not there.
Gong Baths may be hard to accurately describe but I can safely asure that they are powerful, particularly during the crescendo using multiple gongs. The vibrations will leave you feeling refreshed, restored and the resonating effect will be healing on your body, mind, and spirit.
